Since midnight, the Israelis have detected at least five ballistic missile launches coming into Israel from Iran.
They have led millions of Israelis into shelters throughout the night, which is something that Israeli analysts say the Iranians are intending to do to put more pressure on the Israeli government – by keeping Israelis in shelters and by keeping these missiles coming at different times.
A number of estimates are being told to Israelis through the army, saying the security establishment was anticipating 1,000 missile launches to come from Iran and into Israel in the first week.
But only 200 of these have been fired into Israel, which indicates, according to the Israelis, the weakness of the Iranian ability to send missiles, which the Israelis believe has been caused by what they call their “operational successes”.
